The Index template for Browser-based Help

This HTML template is only used for Browser-based Help. It generates the keyword index pane within the frame layout that emulates the appearance and functionality of the HTML Help viewer in a normal browser. (The index in HTML Help cannot really be customized. The index in the eBooks viewer is defined by eBook templates.)

 

Be particularly careful when editing this template!

The keyword index template is an integral part of the help viewer generated by Help & Manual for Browser-based Help. Its code is essential for the proper functioning of the index in this viewer. Please be extremely careful when you are editing this template if you don't understand what a piece of code is for it's better to leave it alone!

The indexes in HTML Help and eBooks:

The index in HTML Help cannot really be customized. The appearance of the index in the eBooks viewer is defined by the eBook templates.
